Marmite, Mushroom and Parmesan Omelette

This is a really simple little dish, but very tasty and adds lovely flavour to an omelette

Marmite, Mushroom and Parmesan Omelette


  • 4 x eggs
  • 1 x cup milk
  • 1 tsp marmite
  • Handful button mushrooms, chopped
  • Flat leaf parsleySprinkling parmesan cheese


  1. In a jug whisk together the eggs and milk
  2. Drizzle the tsp marmite and whisk together with the eggs and milk
  3. Meanwhile, spray the mushrooms with a little olive oil spray and salt and add them to a pan on a medium heat
  4. Add the omelette mixture and cook through until the egg is set.
  5. Top the omelette with a little parmesan and freshly ground black pepper and serve
